We had a hard time sitting 18 excited little people down so we could brief them :) they were too eager to start, and too noisy asking too many questions as if we’ll be writing letters to little green men from Mars :) everyone had only one question: are our Secret friends coming to Egypt soon so we can talk to them in person, or are we going to Denmark? Well, we sure hope so, but we’ll need a really rich Secret Friend to make that invitation :) meanwhile we can only write letters and exchange gifts, so we talked a bit about Talk2Me in general and how they were expected to participate.

Then some basic info about the Danish school and students, and they were asked to write draft letters to share with their teachers and discuss with the class as part of their Character Building Curriculum. As this is a class project, the kids finished their letters and cards in class, and shared ideas in groups on main topics and visual themes to use, then each was given time to work independently to show his/her individual taste and information. It was fun watching them work so diligently, and then show off their finished cards so proudly :)
