Talk 2 Me: Letters from Egypt
Since all the letters were handwritten, we thought to put it down in print for you to read. Most kids wrote their Secret Friend’s names in Arabic and talked about life in Egypt, traditional celebrations, local food and weather, and their favorite sports, pets and games. They also explained some religious celebrations, and stressed the friendships they have with people of other religions in Egypt and beyond.

The teachers also wrote to the ones in Denmark explaining their excitement with this unique experience and exploring possibilities of taking the project further for more in depth cultural exchange for kids on both sides.
